About
Daniel Newman is a 23-year-old photographer and creative based in New York City and Los Angeles. He recently graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, where he concentrated in Beverage Management and minored in Design and Environmental Analysis. His journey into photography began in 2015 at the International Center of Photography in New York, where he studied film photography before expanding into digital and mixed media formats.
Daniel’s photography moves fluidly between portraiture, sports, fashion, and editorial work, often blending raw emotion with a sense of storytelling. He has a keen eye for the beauty in everyday moments, capturing them in a way that feels both intimate and open to interpretation.
Daniel recently celebrated his first exhibition opening, Amalgamate—a 4-year curated exploration of identity, memory, and constructed space. As he continues developing his practice, he divides his time between New York City and Los Angeles.
Alongside his photography, Daniel hopes to bring together his passions for hospitality and design—whether by blending them into a single creative vision or working across each field individually. With a focus on innovation and visual storytelling, he’s interested in reimagining hospitality spaces that feel as thoughtful and emotionally engaging as they are functional.
